Isotope forums

I plan to further develop activities for teaching and learning science within the environment of a research laboratory and in science educational outreach activities. I will promote education programmes and seminars designed to explore the dissemination of new ideas and practices in science learning, and evaluate their impact on teachers and students.

Isotope interests

My current scientific interests focus on Science Education by Scientific Institutes. The responsibility of education is to provide the public (young and old) with the knowledge necessary either for a future career in science, or active, participatory citizenship in a scientific driven society. Thus, some research institutes established as one of its missions statements to keep members of the public (students, teachers and parents) informed and engaged in important research findings and discoveries in the different fields of biomedical research.

My aim as science schools liaison officer is to to reach a wider audience of classroom teachers, science supervisors and administrators, teacher educators, and parents, thus contributing to increase the scientific literacy of young students, 9 to 16 year-olds, teachers and even parents.I plan to the further develop activities of teaching and learning science within the environment of a research laboratory and in science educational outreach activities.
